Understanding Faith, Difference, and Truth in Christian-Muslim Conversations
I wrote Which Jesus? out of a pastoral concern that kept surfacing in conversation after conversation. More and more, I was hearing Christians encounter confident claims about Jesus that sounded familiar, respectful, and even affirming—yet quietly reshaped who He is. Shared language created the impression of agreement, while deep differences went unnamed. This book is my attempt to bring clarity without combat, and confidence without fear.
At the center of these pages is a simple but unavoidable question: Who is Jesus? I return again and again to Scripture to show why Christianity stands or falls on the Sonship, crucifixion, resurrection, and lordship of Christ. My goal is not to win debates or catalog every belief system, but to help readers recognize why redefining Jesus—even respectfully—alters the gospel itself.
I wrote this book pastorally, not polemically. I wanted to speak to believers who care deeply about loving their neighbors, listening well, and remaining faithful at the same time. Throughout the book, I focus on discernment that is calm, confident, and rooted in worship rather than anxiety. Chapters on listening, asking clarifying questions, and preparing churches for real conversations are shaped by the everyday realities pastors and believers face.
This book moves from theology to formation, from confession to confidence. It argues that clarity is not an act of cruelty, but an act of love—and that the church’s calling in a pluralistic world is not to shout louder or withdraw quietly, but to confess Christ faithfully. I believe the gospel does not need to be protected by fear; it needs to be proclaimed with trust.
I wrote Which Jesus? for pastors, church leaders, and thoughtful Christians who want to remain anchored in Christ amid competing claims and cultural pressure. My hope is that these pages help readers speak clearly, love genuinely, and rest confidently in the Jesus who saves.
